Mammoth Cave is the longest cave system in the world; more than 400 miles explored, with the Green River running through. It's the home to many bat species (including some rare and endangered), cave shrimp, eyeless cave fish, and cave crickets. Inside the cave, there are "bottomless pits", writing on the walls from ancient peoples, stalactites, stalagmites, "fat man's misery" which is a narrow passageway, "tall man's agony" where the top is low, frozen niagara, and many other cool things. There's numerous tours, hiking trails, and campgrounds.
I've been here so many times I could give the tours. But I'm probably going to go more and hiking this summer with my sister and friends.
Maybe after my camping trip me and my friends will come here c:
I love Mammoth Cave ok
